Hello!

I have a few questions about connecting my dtx450k to my ipad and macbook.

1. How do I connect the drum kit to the dtx400Touch app?
I already have a usb b to usb a adapter so I tried to connect Ipad->30-pin to usb a cable->usb a to usb b adapter->dtx450k brain.
This did not work. Do I need some other cable and/or adapter for this to work or why does the app not recognize the drum kit?

2. I want to record sound from the drum kit to garageband or other software. How should I connect the drum kit to my macbook?
Can I use a USB b to USB a cable and connect the kit straight to the computer? Can I connect the devices with an aux cable?

3. I want to use the drum kit as a midi controller and use it to play sounds from a music software in my macbook. Is this possible? How should I connect the kit to the macbook?
Do I need to change any specific settings in my computer or the software I use to be able to trigger sound from the drum kit?


Available cables/adapters at the moment:
Aux cable + 3,5mm to 6,3mm adapter
30-pin to usb Ipad cable + Usb b to usb adapter
Usb b to usb a cable


I don't know if I should buy a yamaha i-ux1, an irig 2 or some other cable/adapter and I feel like I'm losing out on some pretty cool features if I don't solve the connecting problems.
