Resolved Yamaha dtx multi 12 memory hack question

did anyone try to open up the multi 12? I’ve read that with the spd sx it is possible to upgrade the memory by just replacing the internal sd card, and I wonder if there’s an option like that on the multi 12- not necessarily sd card, but the concept of swapping its memory.

Hey Sivan!

The memory capabilities are maxed out at the standard level, the only upgrades that would be available are firmware updates.

Now if you want to perform a factory reset, I'd be more than happy to assist you with that matter, but the memory is not upgradable.
