hey guys...

i have yamaha dtx exprass iv.
i want to add a pad, a cymble and if theres more options id like to know.

1. which pad and cymble models will work with the dtxexpress iv?

1. how do i connect it? what parts do i need to buy in addition to the pad and cymble?

2. what about a cymble stand? does it have to be a yamaha spesific stand model
what about the pad? what do i need to buy to mount it?

4. will it automaticlly work with EZdrummer? or do i need to configure it?

if any of you added, id like to hear how you did it.

thanks guys

https://usa.yamaha.com/files/download/other_assets/9/1137909/PadModuleCompatibility_en_a0.pdf

Plug it in, Same as any pad

Any cymbal stand. And Yamaha tom spike. Same as what you already have (why complicated question?)

4. will it automaticlly work with EZdrummer? or do i need to configure it?

"automatically"? Maybe. Any pad will send a MIDI note. You might need to map it at the module or software end,

Right - so

(a) what you you plugged in to what already?

(b) what are you trying to achieve?

From the chart I linked above you can have a three-zone pad in 1, 5 or 6. The chart is easy to understand.

The numbers 1,2,3....12 refer to the numbers on the inputs on your DTX
