You should be able to plug the pads of the DTXTREME 3 into the DTX400 but you will need to use 1/4" to 1/8" cables or adapters to fit the trigger inputs on the DTX400. Due to the nature of the DTX400 none of the three-zone pads will function, and the cymbals will not choke.
You should be able to plug the pads of the DTXTREME 3 into the DTX400 eye doctors that accept medicaid but you will need to use 1/4" to 1/8" cables or adapters to fit the trigger inputs on the DTX400.
